UB Poker has recently added many pros to Team UB to coincide with moving to the CEREUS Poker Network. Team UB represents every facet of the game: tournament specialists, talented entertainment folks, online poker superstars, and the women in poker.
It’s hard to envision UB without mentioning the former face of UB, Phil Hellmuth. That’s right, Phil Hellmuth and UB parted ways in early 2011 and is no longer associated with the company. Despite his poor sportsmanship, Hellmuth is arguably the greatest tournament player of all time. He holds a record 11 WSOP Bracelets, all in various forms of hold ‘em, and has over $6,000,000 in WSOP cashes. Look out for Hellmuth in the 30 new money-guaranteed tournaments added by UB. Team UB also includes more tournament terrors, all with diverse backgrounds, such as young gun Brandon Cantu, medical-school-drop-out turned poker pro Matt Graham, Bryan Devonshire, and PhD wielding Michael Binger.
In addition to players with a ton of success in live tournaments, Team UB has beefed up its ranks with players who have made millions from online poker. These included gifted players like Billy Kopp, who turned a $200 online deposit into $100,000, and Garry “Debo34” Debenardi. Mark “p0ker h0” Croon and Adam “Roothlus” Levy are also are accomplished Internet veterans. The 27-year-old Levy finished runner up in an FTOPS event in early 2009, pocketing nearly $400,000.
